Sr. Product Manager (R2005)
Reports To: Director of Product Marketing

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish product strategy, product roadmaps and positioning.
  • Be responsible for managing all aspects of the product life cycle – from generating marketing requirements to roll out products.
  • Work closely with the marketing organization to execute marketing programs, including product launch, product interoperability and systems engineering, delivering sales training and collateral material, and maintaining relationship with financial and strategic analysts.

Qualifications

  • Able to write product requirements and specifications by using hard data, strategic insight and organizational skills.
  • 5+ years related experience in internetworking technologies and applications.
  • Strong knowledge of L2 protocols (STP, MSTP, 802.1ad), IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS), QoS, traffic management, IPv6, MPLS and Network Security.
  • Enterprise Networking end-user experience for solution/application implementation preferred.
  • BSEE/CS or equivalent. MS and/or MBA is preferred.
  • Product management experience with data internetworking products.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - work with people at all organizational levels.
  • Mandarin speaking is a plus.
