Regional Sales Manager-North West (R2010)
Reports To: Vice President of Sales

Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for all sales revenue in a specified geography. By doing so ensuring that Asante products are promoted and sold throughout the territory by resellers, VARs, system integrators and authorized Advantage Partners. The Regional Sales Manager will work with the inside sales representatives to effectively manage and achieve the territory quota. The Regional Sales Manager will be the main field contact at Asante for the customers in the territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieves quota across in a given territory.
  • Recruits and signs new authorized resellers.
  • Grows revenues at existing resellers.
  • Provides product trainings for reseller/channel partner representatives in a given territory.
  • Performs joint sales calls where necessary in the territory.
  • Supports distributor and reseller shows within the territory.
  • Works all RFP's and bids within the territory.
  • Qualifies End user opportunities.
  • Identifies opportunities to establish ongoing relationships and generate sales.
  • Recognizes and identifies key decision makers and their roles.
  • Serves as the field point of contact for existing customers.
  • Works closely with inside sales associates, FSE's, reseller sales representatives and management to meet sales objectives in a specific territory.
  • Meets sales objectives and initiatives.
  • Manages marketing funds to maximize ROI with channel partners.
  • Performs reseller and end user account calls within the territory as needed.

Qualifications

  • Able to build and manage customer relationships and to effectively manage time.
  • Able to successfully work independently and be self motivated.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate sales people at channel partners to aggressively promote and sell Asante products.
  • A team player.
  • Ability to consistently bring necessary tasks to completion and able to manage a high volume of disparate tasks while maintaining quality results.
  • Understands 2-tier distribution and an indirect selling model and networking technology.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and is able to achieve the desired results in a fast paced, highly competitive, multi-tasking environment.
  • Is detailed and organized in approach to work and follow through.
  • Takes initiative to ensure that tasks are completed regardless of circumstances.
  • Able to travel within a specified geography.
  • 7+ years of related industry sales experience and a proven track record of achieving sales quota in related field
  • BS/BA from an accredited University/College, advanced degree is preferred.
