These are the release notes for runtime code version 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3. This Code is applicable to the Asanté IntraSwitch 6216M, 6224 and 6224M.

OVERVIEW
This is a release of Runtime code version 1.10 of Asanté IntraSwitch 62XX Fast Ethernet Switch series. 

NEW FEATURES
* Port based VLAN support
* Single STP (Spanning Tree) per system by dedicating a VLAN for STP
  operation
* Feature to take care proper STP operation in case of any wrong Normal-to-
  tagged port connection
* BOOTP-TFTP mode can be selected only if switch IP address is 0.0.0.0
* MII support for 6224M Hardware
* Prom Image information in general information display screen
* Support for enabling / disabling management access for VLAN and another
  [MIB] object for adding multiple VLANs through SNMP

* Station Movement for same port and different VSEG's (VLAN segments)
* Management Access time-out in case of checking locally learnt cells
* Station Movement Trap binding variables order

* Corrected display of Port Link and Data LEDs when port is disabled

OVERVIEW
Unnecessary Mac addresses are removed.  The "Ready" LED is turned OFF.

BUGS FIXED
1. Management MAC and BPDU (Bridge protocol data unit) addresses are added only for the default VSEG. Adding these addresses for all the VLANs causes problem with SmartBits X-stream tests. 

2. The Ready LED is OFF again from this version.
