Step 1: Recording your TCP/IP Settings

Open your computer's TCP/IP Control Panel.
- Click and hold on the Apple Menu in the upper
left corner of your screen
- Move over Control Panels
- Move to TCP/IP
It should look similar to this:

- Make sure Connect via is set to Ethernet,
Ethernet built-in, or your 3rd party Ethernet adapter card is
selected
- Record all of your current settings. You
can either write them down or fill
out this form and print it.
- Change Configure to Using DHCP
Server.
- Close the TCP/IP control pannel and save
your changes.
- Repeat steps 1, 3 and 4 for all other Macs
you wish to connect to the router.
