Step 2: Configuring Your Computer

From the Windows Start button, choose "Settings" (If Windows XP simply select "Control Panels") and select "Control Panels". Double click on "Network and Dial-up". Choose the Ethernet connection you are currently using. Click "Properties". Choose "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)". It will look similar to this:

1. Click Obtain an IP address automatically
2. Click OK.
3. Click OK again.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 to configure additional PCs on your computer.
